Forward Air ransomware leads to $7.5M revenue hit

In December 2020, FORWARD AIR suffered a ransomware attack that affected operational and IT systems, caused service delays, and led to a temporary suspension of EDI connections with customers. An SEC filing disclosed an estimated $7.5 million LTL revenue loss for December due primarily to the EDI suspension. The incident has been attributed to the HADES ransomware group.
