Cyberattacks disrupt Iranian banks’ card services via shared platform

On 23 Jun 2026, Informatics Services Corporation said cyberattacks led Bank Melli Iran, Bank Saderat Iran and Bank Tejarat to suspend card services to prevent further unauthorized access, disrupting ATMs, POS terminals and mobile apps nationwide. Officials also acknowledged a related disruption on 14 Jun affecting the same banks and the Export Development Bank of Iran.
