QUANTUM ransomware strikes Dominican Agrarian Institute (IAD)

On 18/08/2022, the Instituto Agrario Dominicano (IAD) suffered a QUANTUM ransomware attack that encrypted servers and disrupted operations. Attackers claimed to have stolen over 1 TB of data and demanded roughly $600–650K. The National Cybersecurity Center (CNCS) assisted and stated the government would not pay.
