Ransomware disrupts operations at Porto de São Francisco do Sul

On 06/05/2024, Porto de São Francisco do Sul reported a cyberattack that encrypted some data and led to a temporary shutdown of systems to prevent spread. Partial recovery on 07/05 enabled full resumption of port operations in less than 24 hours, while access control and security systems (ALPR, biometrics, CCTV) were gradually restored. The port notified Receita Federal, ANTAQ, and the Brazilian DPA. The RansomHub group later claimed responsibility.
