Ransomware encrypts 280 servers at BRASPRESS
On the night of 07/07/2024, Braspress suffered a ransomware attack that encrypted 280 servers and forced systems offline. The company restored around 100 TB of backups, cleaned 3,500 workstations and 280 servers, and resumed normal operations after recovery. The incident was investigated by São Paulo’s cybercrime police. Public reports noted customer tracking access issues and delivery delays during recovery.
