Bosnia and Herzegovina Parliament crippled by alleged ransomware

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s state-level parliament suffered a cyberattack starting around September 8–9, 2022 that disabled its website and servers and forced lawmakers to avoid turning on computers, cutting access to email and documents. Prosecutors opened an investigation. Local reporting indicated ransomware may be involved. Disruptions lasted nearly two weeks.
