Carraro cyberattack halts Italian plants; 700 in CIG and €15m revenues deferred

On 24/09/2020 CARRARO disclosed a cyberattack affecting part of its IT infrastructure, temporarily interrupting some activities and initiating server/network remediation with a progressive return to normal in the following days. Regional reporting described production and administration halted at Campodarsego (Padova) and Rovigo (Divisione Agritalia), with about 700 workers placed into cassa integrazione pending restoration. In later financial updates, the company said the temporary IT systems interruption in the last week of September deferred roughly €15m of revenues to the following quarter, weighing on Q3 profitability.
