Fondouest ransomware halts IT; two-thirds of systems and telephony down (Feb 2024)
On 01 Feb 2024, geotechnical SME Fondouest suffered a ransomware attack that immediately stopped IT operations; about two-thirds of its systems and telephony were out of service. A ransom was demanded. Operations were restored within days from clean backups. Reported losses were about €75k (with CCI media noting >€100k incl. contractors).
