Cubadebate hit by DDoS; bandwidth saturated and mirrors denied service

Cubadebate reported that on 15/07/2021 it suffered a DDoS attack against its international mirrors between 09:53 and 10:23 local time, generating around 580,000 fake requests in 30 minutes that saturated bandwidth and reduced server responsiveness, triggering denial of service on its international mirrors. Cubadebate later stated that its main site and subdomains continued to receive intense DDoS between Thursday and Friday, saturating bandwidth and compromising the functioning of its servers, with 3.5 million attacker accesses recorded.
