Ransomware at IFX Networks disrupts Colombian ministries and courts
On 12/09/2023, IFX Networks reported a ransomware incident affecting some of its virtual machines. Colombian agencies hosted on IFX lost access to critical applications: the Ministry of Health said national‑level service applications were unavailable, and the Judicial Branch suspended proceedings due to cloud infrastructure outages. IFX later reported restoring services for most customers.
