Adform software supply-chain compromise modifies cryptocurrency transactions on downstream websites

Attackers compromised Adform's centrally distributed web-tracking technology and inserted malicious JavaScript into a resource served to downstream websites. Adform found malicious activity beginning late on 26 July 2026 and removed it on 27 July; the script attempted to replace Bitcoin, Ethereum or Tron wallet addresses on affected webpages, creating a direct software-supply-chain data-integrity impact.
