DDoS attack disrupts Canonical and Ubuntu public services

Beginning April 30, 2026, Canonical’s public web infrastructure was hit by a sustained cross-border DDoS attack. Canonical confirmed service disruption and restored affected services by May 6, while warning that some services could remain partially degraded.
