INDODAX security breach halts cryptocurrency exchange operations
INDODAX detected a security incident on 11 September 2024 after approximately $22 million in crypto assets were stolen. The exchange suspended its platform while conducting security maintenance, preventing normal trading and deposit and withdrawal activity. Trading and IDR services resumed after roughly 80 hours, while deposits and withdrawals for additional crypto assets were restored progressively over subsequent days.
