DDoS attack disrupts Resona internet banking services

Beginning on 29 December 2024, Resona group banking services experienced access failures caused by large volumes of externally generated traffic. Personal internet banking became unavailable at Resona Bank, Saitama Resona Bank, Kansai Mirai Bank and Minato Bank for part of the incident. Resona later confirmed a series of similar attacks during December 2024 and January 2025 and stated that no information leakage or virus infection had been identified.
