Ransomware attack forces Armentières hospital emergency department to close

Centre Hospitalier d'Armentières was hit by a ransomware attack during the night of 10-11/02/2024. The hospital disconnected its computers from the main network, activated crisis procedures and operated clinical services in degraded mode. The emergency department was closed for approximately 24 hours and incoming emergency patients were redirected to other facilities while continuity measures protected inpatient care.
