PSI Software ransomware severely restricts group business operations

PSI Software detected a cyberattack on 15/02/2024 and progressively disconnected external connections and internal systems. The company subsequently confirmed ransomware and reported that most of its IT infrastructure was unavailable, affecting all business units and substantially restricting central business activities. Recovery lasted for weeks, with productive operations largely resuming only from the beginning of May. PSI reported no evidence that deployed customer systems or remote maintenance connections had been compromised.
