Ransomware disrupts New Mexico prosecutors' statewide case-management services

A ransomware attack detected on 13 March 2024 affected servers connected to the New Mexico Administrative Office of the District Attorneys, including the consolidated statewide case-management system used to exchange court records. Prosecutors' offices in Santa Fe, Clovis and Carlsbad were affected, and public defenders temporarily lost access to current information and new electronic disclosures while systems were isolated and restored.
