ICS intrusion causes Muleshoe municipal water tank overflow

On 18 January 2024, malicious access to the City of Muleshoe water-control environment caused a storage tank to overflow and waste tens of thousands of gallons of water. Authorities later attributed the activity to the Russian government-aligned Cyber Army of Russia Reborn. The utility disabled affected control functionality, but customer drinking-water service was not interrupted.
