Cyber incident disrupts Frontier Communications internal operations and customer support

Frontier Communications detected unauthorized access to its IT environment on 14 April 2024 and shut down certain systems as part of containment. The company reported operational disruption while core residential and business communications networks remained available; internal-system outages impaired its ability to communicate with and support customers until core IT systems were restored.
