Cyber incident closes Octapharma Plasma donation centers across the United States

Octapharma detected suspicious network activity on 17 April 2024 and shut down affected systems, resulting in closure of its U.S. plasma donation centers. The company progressively reopened sites and said all 176 U.S. centers had resumed normal operations by 25 April; European production sites remained unaffected and production was maintained. BlackSuit later claimed responsibility, but Octapharma did not publicly confirm the attribution.
