FixedFloat February hack halted exchange orders

On the night of 16-17 February 2024, an external attacker exploited weaknesses in FixedFloat's security structure, compromised service infrastructure and stole USD 26.1 million. FixedFloat urgently disconnected the service after discovering the intrusion, temporarily stopping more than 30 customer orders; the orders were later completed and service resumed with a reduced set of supported assets.
