ThyssenKrupp Automotive Body Solutions cyberattack halted factory production

ThyssenKrupp Automotive Body Solutions detected unauthorized access to its IT infrastructure in February 2024 and took applications and systems offline to contain the intrusion. The incident disrupted operations at its Saarland plant and halted factory production work, while ThyssenKrupp said customer supply and other business units were not affected. A company spokesperson described the event as a failed ransomware attempt.
