River Financial disclosed to the SEC that an unauthorized actor gained network access on or about 16 June 2026 and deployed ransomware across portions of its server environment. Impacted systems were taken offline and River stated that certain operations were affected while restoration proceeded. A later SEC amendment confirmed that the actor also removed data from the environment.
