Reynella East College cyber breach takes ICT systems offline

Reynella East College notified families on 9 June 2026 that a cybersecurity breach had taken all school computer systems offline and that restoration was unlikely within that week. Classes continued through alternate arrangements, making the consequence a material degradation rather than a complete suspension of education. Later reporting linked the breach and publication of stolen data to Interlock; core ICT systems were restored roughly a month later.
