Boston Scientific cyber incident disrupts manufacturing and order fulfillment

Boston Scientific identified unauthorized activity on 25 August 2026 that caused a global network outage affecting operating systems and business applications. The incident impaired manufacturing and the processing and shipping of customer orders, created order backlogs and temporary customer delays, and disrupted new LATITUDE remote-monitoring activations. Manufacturing, order fulfillment and shipping were fully restored on 9 September. The company later determined that the incident was likely to materially affect its 2026 operating results.
