DDoS attack disrupts Norway's shared government digital services

A large distributed denial-of-service attack against the Norwegian Digitalisation Agency began on 24 August 2026 and continued until 26 August. The attack caused intermittent partial and full outages across shared government services, including ID-porten and other common digital solutions used to deliver public services. Server Killers claimed responsibility, but Norwegian authorities did not publicly confirm that attribution.
