Malware attack disrupts Suisun City emergency and municipal services

Malicious software compromised Suisun City's IT environment on 7 August 2026. To contain the incident, the city shut down its entire IT network, disrupting 911 routing, police and fire dispatch, records, online services and other municipal operations. Emergency dispatch was rerouted through Solano County and multiple public-facing city services remained unavailable or restricted during restoration. Unidentified perpetrators subsequently made demands to the city.
