Cyber incident closes Southeastern Oklahoma State University campus

A cybersecurity incident beginning 30 July 2026 disrupted Southeastern Oklahoma State University systems and caused the Durant campus to close on 30 July, 31 July and 3 August. The university later confirmed that an unauthorized actor gained access to some computer systems and may have acquired copies of files. System restoration continued after the campus closures.
