Cyberattack halts ZEGO textile production for nearly six weeks

A cyberattack on 29 March 2026 caused a complete production outage at ZEGO Textilveredelungszentrum for nearly six weeks. ZEGO said the resulting economic burden could not be fully offset and contributed directly to an insolvency filing, although operations subsequently continued under provisional insolvency administration. Public sources do not establish ransomware, extortion, data theft or a responsible actor.
