DDoS attack disrupts Deutsche Bahn digital booking and passenger-information services

Beginning on 17/02/2026, Deutsche Bahn experienced a targeted DDoS attack against its IT systems. The attack caused temporary disruption to bahn.de, DB Navigator and passenger information and booking functionality through the following morning. Deutsche Bahn restored the digital systems on 18 February; train operations themselves were not reported as disrupted.
