On 28/01/2026, coordinated DDoS attacks targeted Embark Studios' online game infrastructure, disrupting ARC Raiders and The Finals with connection failures, lag and service instability. Embark publicly acknowledged the attacks and worked on mitigation; by 29 January it reported that the DDoS activity had largely been mitigated and The Finals had returned to normal service.
