Ransomware forces Krakow MSWiA hospital into restricted emergency operations

A ransomware attack compromised the IT infrastructure of SP ZOZ MSWiA in Krakow on 8 March 2025. The hospital operated in a restricted emergency mode, suspended admissions to its Neurology Department and worked to restore its IT infrastructure. Neurology admissions resumed on 11 March, although the hospital remained in emergency operating mode and warned of possible patient difficulties.
