DDoS attack disrupts Beeline connectivity and customer services

On 3 March 2025, systems operated by VimpelCom under the Beeline brand were targeted by a DDoS attack. Russia's communications regulator recorded a sharp increase in subscriber complaints in Moscow and the Moscow region, while users reported problems with the Beeline application, website and internet connectivity. The operator reported that the attack's effects had been mitigated and services were operating normally later that afternoon.
