DDoS against Delta Telekom degrades internet connectivity across Azerbaijan
A large-scale DDoS attack targeted Azerbaijani backbone operator Delta Telekom on 21 August 2025 and caused temporary slowdowns and connectivity interruptions for internet users and providers across the country. The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport said providers were rapidly rerouted through alternative backbone networks and Delta Telekom service was restored shortly afterward.
