Cyberattack on Internet Rimon disconnects customers from internet service

Internet Rimon confirmed detecting a hostile cyberattack on 23 August 2025. Large numbers of customers experienced severe connectivity problems, including partial or complete disconnection and disruption of filtering services for more than ten hours, while the provider worked to reconnect users. The Iranian group Promised Revenge self-claimed the incident and made destructive-access claims that were not independently verified.
