Cyberattack disables WEDA medical software used by French physicians

WEDA detected malicious activity against its medical-software environment on 10 November 2025 and shut the platform down for its users. Thousands of healthcare professionals temporarily lost access to patient records and related digital workflows, forcing some practices to use paper-based processes. Service began returning in degraded form on 14 November, with some functions restored progressively afterward.
