Ransomware disrupts Curaçao Tax Office services for days
A ransomware attack struck the Curaçao Tax Office on 24 July 2025. Customer-service counters, the call center and multiple internal processes were unavailable, with only limited services returning in stages; online tax filing and normal payment channels remained available. The Tax Office expected full customer service, counter activity, call-center service and internal processes to resume on 4 August.
