Targeted cyberattack causes nationwide POST Luxembourg communications outage

On 23 July 2025, POST Luxembourg suffered a targeted cyberattack designed to disrupt services. Internet, mobile and landline communications were disrupted across Luxembourg from about 4:15 p.m.; emergency numbers were affected before being restored, and LU-Alert messages to POST customers were delayed. By 8 p.m. internet and telephone services had stabilized while remaining services were being restored.
