Cyberattack at Juan F. Luis Hospital disrupts clinical IT and radiology workflows

Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center experienced a cybersecurity incident on April 26, 2025 that disabled its internet and internal network. Federal and hospital disclosures show that essential clinical systems, including radiology, were materially constrained; disaster telemedicine was used to process more than 250 radiology studies including backlogged cases while patient care continued under continuity measures.
