Adyen detected a DDoS attack against its European datacenters on April 21, 2025. Three waves saturated infrastructure and caused intermittent outages and degraded transaction-processing and customer-facing services, producing failed or delayed e-commerce and in-person payment transactions before the incident was resolved early on April 22.
