Ransomware disrupts an LG Energy Solution overseas facility
LG Energy Solution confirmed that ransomware affected one overseas facility in November 2025 and caused a temporary operational disruption before the facility returned to normal operation. Akira subsequently self-claimed the incident and asserted large-scale data theft, but LG did not publicly confirm that attribution or all of the actor's exfiltration claims.
