Hamilton County Sheriff's Office experienced a cyber incident beginning April 14, 2025 that led to shutdown of its website and multiple public-facing functions. The office later acknowledged ransomware and a ransom demand; affected services included warrant search, tip-line, mugshot and other online functions, and some internal software remained unavailable after the website returned.
