Ontario Medical Supply ransomware disrupts home-care supply coordination

Ontario Medical Supply was infiltrated beginning March 17, 2025, with ransomware activated on April 13 and significant portions of its servers locked. OMS confirmed encryption and data exfiltration; records obtained from Ontario Health atHome show OMS remained disconnected from the agency's systems and could not provide stockout and related supply notifications, with OMS management stating that the inability to integrate was hurting patient care.
