DaVita ransomware disrupts network operations while dialysis care continues

DaVita became aware of ransomware on April 12, 2025 that encrypted elements of its network and disrupted company operations. SEC disclosures state that parts of the network were disconnected, most functions were later restored, and data exfiltration occurred; contingency plans and manual processes enabled dialysis patient care to continue without reported interruption.
