St. Cloud cyberattack disrupts municipal services and payment workflows

The City of St. Cloud, Florida detected a cyberattack on 25 March 2024 that affected phone lines and multiple city departments, forced some city payments to cash-only operation and disrupted normal service delivery. A later official investigation determined that an unauthorized actor had accessed city systems between 17 and 25 March.
