Casio ransomware attack suspends services and delays product shipments

Casio discovered unauthorized access on 5 October 2024 and subsequently confirmed that ransomware damaged servers and made multiple systems unusable. Important internal systems and some customer-facing services were suspended. Casio's online store later confirmed that shipments for existing and new orders had been halted by the system failure and began resuming shipments on 21 October.
