Mobile Guardian compromise remotely wipes 13,000 student learning devices

Unauthorized access to Mobile Guardian's device-management platform on 4 August 2024 enabled remote wiping of enrolled iOS and ChromeOS devices. In Singapore, approximately 13,000 students across 26 secondary schools were affected, losing access to applications and locally stored learning materials and requiring large-scale device restoration.
