Cyberattack takes Roseltorg procurement platform offline and disrupts electronic contracting

Roseltorg's electronic trading platform became unavailable on 9 January 2025 and later acknowledged that the outage was associated with an external attempt to destroy data and infrastructure used for electronic trading. The platform remained inaccessible for several days, preventing users from normal procurement activities including contract signing and auction applications. Roseltorg said procedure and contract-signing deadlines would be automatically extended after access was restored. Yellow Drift claimed responsibility, but that attribution was not independently confirmed by Roseltorg.
