Genea cyber incident disrupts fertility care communications and treatment coordination

In February 2025, Genea detected unauthorized access to its network and took systems offline. Phone lines and the MyGenea app were disrupted, and ABC documented patients unable to complete time-sensitive fertility testing and treatment coordination. Termite later claimed the data theft, but the operational TRACE consequence is independently supported by patient-service disruption.
