Skanlog cyberattack disrupts Systembolaget distribution and product availability

Skanlog suffered an IT attack on 22 April 2024 that disrupted its ability to distribute goods to Systembolaget. Systembolaget said the disruption affected suppliers representing about 15% of its sales volume and temporarily reduced product availability in stores and e-commerce. Skanlog's CEO separately described the incident as ransomware; the reported North Korean attribution was not sufficiently substantiated and is not retained.
